Hello everyone,
In the next few days, we want to lay a new vinyl floor over our tiles. For this, we first have to apply a leveling compound (2 mm) and then impact sound insulation and click vinyl. Unfortunately, our plastic door, which leads to a covered outdoor area, no longer fits afterwards. It is an older door, and I have not seen any possibility to raise the door a bit (there is space above).
Now the question for me is whether I can shorten the bottom of the door a bit (see photo)? Unless there is a way to raise the door? The look is beside the point, as we will replace the door anyway at some point (currently postponed due to lack of time and money).
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards
Daniel Kraft
