: €17.50 is the broken down annual fee for tennis. €100 miscellaneous is also the average. We live quite frugally. In other words, only new if broken. That's what we have the cash reserves for. We do 2/3 of the car ourselves. And she is also getting something new this year.

The m^2 were only approximate figures. At the moment I don’t have any filters set and look at everything that comes on the market.

Is that realistic for your area? Around here, you don’t get anything for that or nothing you’d seriously want to live in. And existing properties are such a bottomless pit issue; financially it can quickly get out of hand. Always watch for warning signs during viewings and don’t let your enthusiasm run away. Plus: consider whether continuing to rent might be the better solution.

The area around Grevenbroich is familiar to me. Nice there. I once used Immoscout out of interest. Honestly, no idea how long you are willing to wait for a property under the given conditions, but with the provided information, there is only really old junk (from the 70s and older) for well under 200k€, which is a bottomless pit, or something from the 90s where major renovations (heating, roof, facade, etc.) are needed. Honestly, I don't see the 350k€. Unless you feel like renovating for the next few years. As far as I understand, your calculation does not include [KIta/Kiga fees], since you have certainly already dealt with it, you should know that these amount to about 400€ per child at 40 hours/week in NRW. This is the amount paid by the family circle. Also, the 500€ for ancillary costs can easily be accurate depending on the age of the heating system. Therefore, please do not compare the ancillary costs of an existing property with those of a new building.

350k € is realistic. This puts you here (in our property search) in the upper-middle range. The gems just appear less frequently. Due to the market situation, many also think they can make good money.

Bj '65, 980sqm, 121m² with basement => Yeah, sporty. But you must never forget, the houses are already so old that the children of the family next door might buy for the price to live next to their parents. Experienced it myself.

Every day a fool gets up.

EDIT: I revise my opinion: With 20km or 25 minutes distance to the Kö, you can definitely test such a market price in 2019

I have experienced exactly that in the last two months. The property felt about 100k too expensive, but the buyers' parents live around the corner..
