The sellers have no risk. The bridging loan is arranged through the parents. Until the house here is sold.

Help the current tenant with money to persuade her to move out. That before the purchase. Experienced the same situation with a colleague. €7,500 fixed in writing and suddenly every apartment was good enough. Most problem cases are usually financially weak anyway. That’s where the money lures.

Caution in such a case: Age and illness can prevent the enforcement of the eviction order! In such a situation, I would definitely consult a lawyer to determine the most appropriate wording or arrangement!

Yes, I had that fear too. But I "hoped" that only applies to rent. I feel so sorry about it. I sound completely heartless. But somehow we have to see where we stand :(

I think this should be kept in mind and the concerns should be discussed with the sellers. I hardly believe that they are selling the house to screw you over. Most of it has already been mentioned.

We had a similar situation. The seller was 94 years old. We had an enforceable eviction order as well as a latest handover date and handover Zug-um-Zug. What we didn’t do, but definitely would include next time: rent for every day the whole thing is delayed.

But as mentioned, claiming “frailty” could have backfired. I don’t know if there is even a solution that gives you 100% security – but do you need that? A little thrill has to be part of it.
