I was more concerned about the appearance than the savings. Without a handle, it just looks better to me.

Not just the handle. With us, there are two large-area window elements that could not have been manufactured as a single unit to open in the form ([VSG, Schallschutzverglasung]), but only as two sashes.

Wednesday our new P4A glass finally arrived and the windows now have mushroom heads everywhere possible.

Interesting. I'm too stupid to understand what is possible. We also have contacts on everything that can be opened. Distinction is also possible, meaning the display of the window's status (Open/Tilted/Closed), and that can then be connected to an alarm system. I didn't know that it could be combined with roller shutters.
