See here:

We spent a lot of money on a carpenter in some places. That was also the right decision. But especially for the coat rack, it was not worth it to us.
What you see in the picture is Pax built by ourselves.

Well, in connection with a kitchen order that is going to be made anyway, it might be worth expanding the order package to include additional cabinets for other rooms. You just have to let yourself be offered that. I am also a big Pax fan, but if I could get pre-assembled furniture delivered together with the kitchen at a similar price, I would go for it. And if you then perhaps stick to the usual Pax dimensions of 50 or 100 cm width, you might also be able to use Pax interior fittings for a cabinet later on ;)

It is important to me that the cabinet is boxed in, closed on the sides and at the top. Do you know what I mean? I also think Pax is great. A company nearby offers custom conversions of Ikea furniture...

We ordered the kitchen, utility room, and washbasins + cabinets for the bathroom & guest WC in our kitchen studio.

The kitchen is from Häcker. Utility room and bathroom furniture are from Nobilia.

In terms of price, it made a noticeable difference with the bathroom furniture compared to the sanitary specialist trade. However, the kitchen solution in the utility room is more expensive than if you had gotten multipurpose cabinets from the furniture discounter.

I also assembled cabinets myself. The basis was Ikea Pax modules that I mostly bought together in the Ikea bargain corner.
There was even a small kitchenette left over in the children's room. I also realized [Trempel] and partly the wall coverings with Ikea kitchen fronts. However, all uniformly in white with the Bodbyn elements.

In the hallway, I used them as wall coverings, 5m long and 1m high. I also bought the door elements together in the bargain corner for 1 - 5 euros each. Normally, such a door costs around 60 euros. And they now also fit perfectly with the kitchen, as there are similar fronts from another manufacturer.

So if you get used to the Ikea system, you can build something very inexpensive and also durable here.

There are Nobilia Elements for bathrooms, living spaces, etc. The grid and cabinet depths are different from the kitchen cabinets, I believe the program is cheaper than kitchen cabinets.
