I have to correct myself, we did sign a contract for work (with due dates for individual payments, insurance, obligations of the client, construction period, warranty, etc.). The offer and the description of the construction services were integrated into this.

what advantage does it have not to sign a contract? Is it about saving several net annual salaries in ancillary costs (also called fairy tax) to the state? Otherwise, there is no reason. It might also become interesting with the bank, since you already have to prove where the money went. (depending on the bank more or less, but always the main sum)
