If a heat pump suddenly becomes an oil heating system, am I supposed to accept that? Do you have no rights at all?

Consult a lawyer specializing in construction law and sue.

You are in the judiciary, this should be familiar to you.

Comparing apples to oranges usually gets you nowhere.
You are the builders, and you are also obligated not to simply accept everything as a [BU] promises. The development plan is open and visible to everyone and should be thoroughly checked before purchasing a plot of land. Especially by the builder!
And you don't need a lawyer for that, since the proportionality is such that one can expect from a builder a) see above b) to adapt various shades of red. After all, you don't build to have a red roof, but to have a home or retirement provision or investment. The roof and architectural style are adjusted to the development plan. The usability of the house is in no way restricted.

Sorry, no understanding! No construction company has to expect that the exact color of the roof tiles could be a deal-breaker for a client. If you are that picky, you should also learn to read a development plan before signing a contract for a house build.

1. You should also deal with the corresponding requirements before construction. 2. You can sue the company for what you consider to be a - apparently very high - depreciation of the house. I suspect the result won't even cover your necessary costs for it. But that's my layman's opinion
