What's up , we have exactly something like that... pretty much 125sqm (+7sqm utility room on the ground floor), of which 2x12sqm children's rooms and a 6sqm bathroom and a 40sqm roof terrace on the upper floor. So it doesn't work, there is nothing. Technically, we live in an I-story building.

Good evening Tox,

Yesterday was definitely not my day...

From what I remember, your house has a setback at the front. That already takes away quite a bit of the ground floor area; if it was flush at the front - which doesn’t work in your case due to the circumstances - your beautiful Bauhaus would have more than 125 sqm.

I assume the OP means a straightforward architecture; don’t you think? Unfortunately, he hasn’t gotten back to us so far.

Rhenish regards

Well, it's clear that it shouldn't turn out like ours, but it still sounds like the same architectural style, i.e. Bauhaus or similar, cubic, etc...

If you plan a ground floor with, let's say, a 10x10 layout, you end up with about 80 sqm of living space. On top of that, then on the left, right, and front 1m less than the staggered floor, and at the back 3m as a nice terrace, about 40 sqm of living space remain on the upper floor, then you quickly reach the desired 125 sqm. And there isn't really that much difference to ours anymore.

Nope, his question was phrased so generally that you have to assume the standard. You presented him with the [Staffelgeschoss] and the 125 sqm ;)

Then the whole thread no longer makes sense and can be closed. The OP should know what they want themselves and must also communicate that. See my first post here.
