That may be true! I'm not making such statements here, am I?

Oh, so what were the interest rates for the 300 program three weeks ago? Oh yes, for example, starting from 07.02.2024 at 0.65%. If I now pay 0.74% fixed for 10 years with a long term, is that so much worse? What planning certainty is lost now?

But not because the KfW raised from 0.65% to 0.74%. And whoever can afford installments of around €2,500 in my opinion should not be subsidized at all, because then it seems that you earn big to be able to afford that.

Please prove with numbers for the 300 program and don't just SHOUT. And nothing has changed with normal bank loans either.

.. I actually meant you. The interest rate hikes of recent years have certainly also kept one or another from building. And, the household situation is well known.

The government wants to sell us the extension of the fixed interest rate as a huge advantage for families here. That is a sham.

And why? Families still save 1.3% compared to the market interest rate!

Quite simple: because you get 0% for 10 years.
