Building Authority Approval

we would like to replace the existing glass blocks in our bathroom with a fire protection window.
This is necessary because it is a fire protection exterior wall (or whatever it is called)....

Can you roughly tell me how much a building permit at the building authority costs?

Just inquire at the building authority, that is the easiest way. Although I don’t know if you need a permit. Starting from our apartment building, the glass blocks in the stairwell were replaced by window elements, which was permit-free.

According to the window manufacturer, this must be approved due to the proximity to the neighboring building. We are supposed to inquire with the architect. The architect, however, will not come for another 2 weeks. In order for us to plan, we would be interested to know if anyone has experience regarding the costs of such a building application.

A definite answer as to which administrative fees the city of Villingen-Schwenningen charges can only be given to you by the local building authority there.
