500 liters? Phew, so the disinfection program is absolutely necessary?

10kW is quite large - was a heat load calculation done beforehand?

There is no disinfection program. It is a storage tank with an attached heat exchanger for our hot water, meaning there is no domestic water in the storage tank. What we additionally have is a summer circuit for the bathrooms, which is fed from the storage tank - so when the heating is off in autumn/spring, there are still warm feet in the bathrooms ;). This does cost a bit of extra electricity but is a gain in comfort.

10kW for 300sqm of heated area is not really large - by the way, the choice of the system was made only after the heating load calculation. So far, we are satisfied with the system and the consumption (a lot of electricity for this also comes from our photovoltaic system:)).

Ah, that's of course nice - I'm still a bit worried about the size of the hot water tank because we have planned something quite water-intensive for the shower and my wife also showers long & hot :D

We have just under 240 sqm of heated area and 8kW heating load - I'll discuss the heat exchanger with the heating engineer.

Hello nordanney, how much did the system including drilling cost you?

Which heat pump manufacturer do you have, nor? Do you have [ST] for your buffer tank?
