But you still have to allocate the space needed for it later today, otherwise it won’t work anymore. And since there is always talk here about "underground parking garage" or something similar: those things also need space, both for the actual parking spaces and the necessary access ramps, but at least for something like an elevator, as long as teleportation doesn't work reliably yet. ;)

I once kept a jet ski in a duplex garage or stack parker for a few years. You actually need the jet ski much less often than a car. But even then, it annoyed me endlessly to watch the thing move in slow motion.
