That doesn't make sense, or rather doesn't (to me) add up. Why then only a few lines? If that were the case, all the joints should be visible/become visible. The diagonal lines at the windows certainly have nothing to do with joints. Or who would cut the stones diagonally there? Do the horizontal lines run across the entire length of the wall? What does the site manager say?

It’s not about whether the building is at risk of collapsing or not, but whether everything has been executed correctly. I would want to question any possible cracking in the shell/new build.

Are they really cracks or maybe just joint edges where transitions were not properly smoothed?

You will have cracks in the plaster later anyway, that is as sure as amen in church.

Little update, there have been more and more lines, which are now small (hair?) cracks. The site manager says they will close up with heating. Logically thinking, I would rule that out. If anything, they will probably get bigger. However, he also said that if the cracks remain, the plasterers will come again. At the moment, mold is our bigger problem (see other thread). ‍oh man…

Is there also a picture update.

Cracks can occur if the plaster dries too quickly, which probably wasn’t the case with the mold.

Did the BL mention any cause?

Yes, drying too quickly is definitely not our problem. :/
This is what it looks like now:
All walls, with or without windows, have lines and cracks. Whether diagonal, horizontal or vertical, there is a bit of everything.
Cause according to BL: settlement cracks. Especially with the diagonal cracks at the windows, I rather came across the term notch cracks.
