Billy IKEA shelf board / pencils for shelf boards wanted

Hello first of all,

and already the first question.

For my Billy shelves I need those small metal pins where the shelves rest on.

Can you only get them in Ikea stores, or elsewhere too?
Hardware stores, or online by mail order.

Because at the moment I have a hard time getting to an Ikea store. And there is also no one who can quickly go there to get some.

Write them an email, they will definitely send you some.

I believe that you can get them in any hardware store because they are standardized drillings (diameter of the drillings 5 mm / distance of the drillings 32 mm) :p

I would say the same, go to a hardware store and get pens there. Most of the time, everything is standardized. The whole thing will go faster than if you first write an email to IKEA.

You don't need to get it directly from Ikea. They are available in every hardware store. If necessary, take one with you and show it to the salesperson. They will find the right one for you.
