Hello everyone,
actually, we would like to equip our bathroom with few tiles and rather paint many walls with a water-repellent paint. Has anyone had experience with this? And how is it cost-wise?
We have 2 small children, the bathroom should be durable
Thanks in advance,
Best regards, Roni

We only have tiles in the guest bathroom in the shower and on the floor. The rest has plaster, but no water-resistant paint. I think that is not so good in the bathroom either.

I once had a bathroom in a rental apartment without tiles. There was vinyl on the floor and on the walls (up to a certain height).

It was okay.

Good morning, that's how I would also imagine my bathroom. Has anyone already been able to gain experience by now? Thanks, best regards

We have 60cm from the top edge of the bathtub in the bathtub area (also with small children). My tip: Make 90cm tiles from the top edge of the bathtub.

The shower is ceiling-high.

In the area of the sink and toilet, 60-80cm to the sides and up to 20cm above the flush button are sufficient; attach a mirror or similar flush with the sink.
