Base plate, what must be considered

The screed is missing in the Schwedenplatte. The walls are placed on the continuous floor slab there. A normal floor slab gets filling and screed after the walls are erected. The screed is designed as a floating screed for better sound insulation. Schwedenplatte is cheap, that is the only advantage in my opinion.

I would be very cautious with that statement. My neighbor has a Schwedenplatte and it was definitely not cheaper than our normal concrete slab combined with screed, because he needed special frost-free sand for the foundation and that cost almost 10 times as much compared to our standard 08/15 fill sand.

According to Schwedenplatte, normal gravel is used under the insulation as a clean layer
