Good day everyone,
We have bought a house in which the windows (roof and regular windows) need to be replaced. Window installers and roofers gave us the tip regarding BAFA funding, I have read up a bit on it. We already have an offer from the roofer, the window installer will come in the next few days and make us an offer, and we also have an energy consultant who is on the list and will come in the next few days.
Questions:
Question 1:
Somewhere I think I read that we must first submit the funding application and then the energy consultant is allowed to come and create a renovation plan, but I also read that the energy consultant can submit the application for us.
a) What is correct?
b) What is better, we submit the funding application or the energy consultant?
c) Would you have the renovation plan created by an energy consultant or by a chimney sweep with energy consulting?
Question 2:
If we submit the funding application now, we can already let the companies come, but it is at our own risk because it has not yet been approved, have I understood that correctly?
a) What happens if we already let the companies come and, for example, have triple glazing installed but BAFA only pays for double glazing, do we then receive the difference as funding or nothing at all?
- We still have an outbuilding and a garage on the property; both need new roof insulation. Can we also run that through this?
Question 3:
On the website energie-effizienz-experten.de you can find energy consultants and they have categories
Federal funding for efficient buildings: Residential buildings:
If an energy consultant has not selected thermal insulation, can they not advise on that either?
Because we still have an exposed wall, so an energy consultant with thermal insulation would be more appropriate, right?
Many thanks in advance for your answers.
