I am also not quite sure anymore that the building proposals were already listed on their website during my first visit. Model houses (or as Gabriele’s favorite Heinz calls them, "system architecture") are, in my opinion, a much underrated "invention" that can greatly contribute to making construction projects more predictable and with fewer defects.

I fully agree! Exactly for the reasons mentioned above, we would also have liked to build a standard house. However, some of our special requirements and wishes could not be combined with any ready-made floor plan – no matter which provider we looked at.

Have you checked whether any of the mentioned building proposals were derived from your individual planning? (A builder does not necessarily have to come up with his catalog out of thin air, but can also fundamentally check his individual plans to see if they are "fit for breeding" – whether the ancestor line started with the chicken or the egg is ultimately equivalent for the benefit of the umpteenth user of a reality-checked design).
