Good morning dear community,
I still live with my parents in the partly leaky/uninsulated attic.
Since the laundry room is below me and the window there is never opened, I’m starting to worry =/.
After a long argument that we need a new dryer, we got one. So far so good, but where did the moisture from the old dryer go now?
Since I live directly above it and wanted to renovate, I took down the wallpaper and removed the laminate. I had to remove a wooden panel that was used to cover the T-beam because of a green/white mold.
Directly above the laundry room is a wooden board 1500mmx1500mm, I wanted to scrape off the wallpaper remnants from the floor and have to find that the board is being scraped off. So totally unstable. Since the board was glued, I have no idea what to do. Other boards that are about the same age are still firm and stable.
Last year I insulated the roof a little, in the same way the previous owner did. So from my side, the roof is not yet glued on the inside. Should I glue it?
By now, it is hardly possible to sleep without a dehumidifier or open windows, I also somehow feel bad since all this... did I do something wrong?
I could also move out, but I believe that would not solve the problem.
In the morning it is very cold or rather humid here, 18.9°C 40-55%RH
During the day very warm 23-25°C 40-45%RH
Right now 25.1°C 41RH
Since everything here already looks like a construction site, everyone is slowly thinking I should go to therapy -.- and that I should close everything up again!
Only if I fix everything now and then maybe get even more damage... I hardly know what to do anymore. I have thought and planned about moving out, but that won’t solve the problem =/
It would be nice if someone took my problem to heart, thanks in advance!
I have already searched around a bit here but didn’t find anything suitable or under the topics "Bauschäden".
Best regards, Chris
