Attaching Ikea Metod rail, which screws?

I'm currently assembling the Metod kitchen and wanted to know how you attached the rails. What screw size did you use? I have the problem that the tiles start exactly at 82cm and I don't want to destroy everything. I might just barely fit a size 5 screw into the joints, but I don't know if that's enough. In the end, the cabinets stand on the floor :/

Ok, the rails are fixed, I don't quite understand how to hang the cabinets there. Somehow the holes are supposed to match. Can someone help me?

Hello, just hook in, put in the safety thing, and done. Since the cabinets stand on 4 feet, the rail on the base cabinets only serves as an assembly aid and a safety to prevent the cabinets from tipping over if someone pulls out all the drawers at the same time. That is why 5 mm holes are sufficient, especially if they are placed every 30 cm as specified.

I drilled into the tiles (rental apartment) because except for one or two holes, not a single one was above a joint ...

But you would have to have a very deep kitchen for these holes to be visible to subsequent tenants ...
