Don't take it so hard, it's warm, some people are fundamentally frustrated, sometimes because they don't get Amazon vouchers for voluntary help in a forum. Well...
But basically, that's how it is. Your baseboard adhesive won't pull all the cabinets off the wall. It will just stick right up to the cabinet and that's it. Aside from that, you shouldn't have placed your cabinets directly against the wall anyway. If there's 4cm of space, as recommended, it might be possible to fiddle the baseboards behind the cabinet.
One reason why I preferred to take the risk of having a small gap between the floor and baseboard in a year or, worst case, having to tear off a corner again... because going through all that effort in fully furnished rooms? No thanks. My neighbor also waited, I bet he still doesn’t have any baseboards up after 3 years. The motivation to start a construction site again in a furnished room is generally very low.
