Attach kitchen island using Ikea Metod cabinets

I have bought an Ikea kitchen island, which consists of two Metod base cabinets on one side and several Metod wall cabinets on the other side.
The question now is, how do I attach the cabinets back to back?
Does anyone have an idea?

You should ask IKEA whether it’s just no longer on the website or if it has been discontinued.

Can't this simply be done from the inside with flat connectors? At the points where the cabinets are otherwise screwed to the wall. It should actually work, right? We have also planned an island and thought that this shouldn't be a problem.

I went to IKEA again. The assembly kit used to exist. It was actually relaunched on the market. But production was stopped again. For whatever reason. The employee didn’t know either. After searching for a long time, she was able to find me instructions according to which the cabinets can be screwed together using the mounting brackets. For that, the brackets need to be mounted one hole depth further inside. Now it worked.

Yes, that should also work. But you have to buy the flat connectors yourself at Bauhaus, right?
