Assessment of financing offer - Which repayment

"Was" often not really my thing either. But "Schlag den Raab" reminded me a lot of the earlier show "Spiel ohne Grenzen". Harmless evening entertainment without any pretension. So you can just relax and let it wash over you. ;-)

I still have not claimed that the 1% recommendation was about you. But if a TE presents such an offer here, then there must have been someone on the other side (bank, insurance, broker, whoever) who offered it. And I find that negligent and unprofessional.

Ok. In most cases you are probably right. It always depends on the individual case. If an advisor had directly pushed 5% on us, I would have asked if he can calculate? :) As I said... individual case.

Offers usually don’t grow on trees. And yes, you apparently fall completely out of the norm. Probably not even 0.3%, but more like 0.03% of the population are like you.

Nonsense... no one is like me. Everyone is unique. That’s the nice thing...

Specifically, I work for a bank and deal daily with banking risks, including credit default risks, interest rate risks, market price risks, optional risks, operational risks, etc... You too will know the latter risks from your daily bread. And even if you don’t have a risk controller, someone in the company will be latently aware or unaware dealing with them, regardless of your industry and the size of your company.

Probably unconsciously and probably me... one-man company after all :)

And you think I’m not aware of that? I’d rather not write how much I pay per month for disability insurance and term life insurance. Illness/accident is the greatest risk. Economic failure and bankruptcy, on the other hand, is bitter but bearable. I have already been bankrupt once and life goes on. Health is the only thing that matters. You don’t know me. You don’t know what I have already experienced in this regard. The success of my small company is based only very little on luck. 95% is hard work.

OT: May I ask what does for a living? I mean... entrepreneur can mean anything and nothing.
