Nope. Lwwp is sufficient. With [Bafa Förderung] it's already more difficult.

You should inform yourself again. A bit better insulation and an air-to-water heat pump are sufficient. KFW 55 is nothing special, rather the standard. And if you want to do that much in EL, the slightly better insulation is not really a problem cost-wise.

I will get started on that right away! Thank you! More insulation was planned anyway, but I expected much higher costs. Ignorance... but I will get better informed.

The numbers add up. It is similar for us, but we are significantly younger (both 22) and contribute more equity (about 40,000 Euros). The interest rate is better.

Critical consideration: When are children "planned"? Why only so little equity? Is there still equity available for kitchen, furniture, lamps, etc.? How much is left as a reserve?

Children after the construction phase and when there is no longer any financial double burden. So little equity because until a few years ago I was renting an apartment alone and my better half only started working a few years ago (after completing their studies) and has now also repaid BAföG. Most of the furniture has already been purchased, of course the kitchen is still a factor. This should still be covered by saved money through personal contribution, and if not, there is still money in reserve which is sufficient. We did not want to include all equity.

How much is still in reserve? I’m just asking because building often turns out to be a bit more expensive than expected.
