Hello,
we have a narrow plot 13.5x25m in prospect. A local street (no through traffic) is located in the southeast and serves about 5 houses (= little traffic). The future development on the adjacent southwestern plot is not known.
I would like to make the most of the sun, i.e. large window fronts on the southeast / southwest side. Here are the questions: Would a window front facing the street side be "recommended"? Or is it better to forego the light/heat?
Where would be the best place for the terrace? In front of the house on the southeast side? Between the houses (worst case in a 6m wide "gorge", with 3m then being our part, at a eaves height of 6.5m)?
And where do I also accommodate the garages? Distance between garage and property boundary would be 5m.
