Hi,
Actually, I shouldn’t respond to such comments with much more than a "plonk," but here is a clarification:
it’s not directly about the money (although the general contractor also held out his hand for a lot of small stuff, he practically begged for the backlash), but about a lever to motivate the general contractor to kick his unfortunately extremely slow site manager in the ass, who’s been dragging for two months now, so that he wakes up again and does his job. Last Thursday he was just about to be kicked off the site by me.
But that’s another story...
We can now unnecessarily not really use the living room for months because the privacy screen is missing. We already see this as a massive impairment of usability.
Folding screens are a nice idea, but with a small child who loves to pull and push everything everywhere, it’s really not an option.
On top of that, I have significant extra costs because I can no longer gravel the driveway, prepare terraces, and do the essential landscaping work all in one go. No one pays me for the multiple trips of the excavator either.
That’s really annoying, especially since, like us, we have been pushing for the start of the exterior insulation work since the beginning of August, and it only starts in October. The situation we have now is as unnecessary as anything...
Best regards,
Andreas
Sorry for my blunt choice of words: once again a very nice example of the thesis "Greed eats brains"
