Hello,
Fire protection only arises at the moment an extension is built. Ergo, because it will stand free for quite a while.
Construction costs, such as hourly wages and material prices. We have a north/south as well as east/south gradient regarding the expected construction costs. Or put differently, from north to south and east to south it always gets more expensive; metropolitan areas excluded.
Whatever you decide on, keep the offers comparable. So if you prefer wood, only get offers from providers who work with this building material.
Rhineland regards
Why do the walls have to be constructed like regular AWe? Because of fire protection or because the house will initially stand free?

What influence does Hessen have on the costs? Permits, regulations?

Wood seems to me to be a very good building material. Whether solid wood or high-quality timber frame construction
