Are IKEA PAX cabinets available with low build height?

I want to reduce my 3.50m Pax by a 100cm corpus. That means I want to remove the wardrobe in the middle to place a TV there. But now I lack the right idea for the 100cm gap. I am looking for a dresser or another cabinet that is 100cm wide on which I can then place the TV. The cabinet should also offer some storage space. It’s a pity that there are no PAX wardrobes with a low build height.

The PAX doors are Birkeland, so the new cabinet should also match those.

Hello, the only thing that comes to mind is 1. to place a narrower dresser like BRUSALI or KOPANG in between, 2. to purchase two 50 cm wide base cabinets and LIDINGÖ fronts as add-ons in the Faktum range and finish the cabinets with a suitable board, e.g. an end panel, a thin countertop, or table top.

You could also simply shorten your current PAX wardrobe in height. However, it is a bit of a DIY job and requires some craftsmanship skills. You would also need to reinforce the surface where the TV is supposed to stand. Either by installing a stronger board (e.g., a worktop) or with brackets inside the wardrobe.

I also think the solution from the kitchen program would be the best. Metod should also work. 60 and 40 and a slightly thicker top panel on it.

Depth 580 mm
Width 998 mm

METOD Korpusse 40 cm, 60 cm:

Depth 590 mm
Width 400 mm, 600 mm

FAKTUM Korpus 50 cm:

Depth 580 mm
Width 498 mm

or you could try looking on e****y Kleinanzeigen, there used to be smaller cabinets from Pax or a kind of chest of drawers, but they were discontinued very quickly. Alternatively, I just remembered this built-in chest of drawers, which could still be purchased until some time ago, that was built into the Pax.
