Hello everyone,

In the planning of our single-family house, we are currently at the point of shading, among other things. Since our builder is having some difficulty giving price quotes here, I wanted to try my luck in the forum to find some friendly building colleagues or experts who might be able to shed some light on the subject...

It’s about the following:
- On the ground floor, flat slats (unrolled) are currently included in the offer. The total window area is 33m².
- On the upper floor, electric roller shutters have been considered. The window area here is about 35m².

Can any of you give a rough estimate of what an upgrade to other slats, such as...
- rolled C-slats
- S-slats / three-arch slats
- Z-slats
...would approximately cost?

As I said, we just want to get a rough idea of the price range. Therefore, we are very grateful for any input!

Of course, we also look forward to concrete model recommendations.

Once again, a big thank you!

Best regards,
matze007

With us, the additional costs between electric shutters and rail-guided, hemmed C-slats (no special paint in window frame color) are 350 euros per window.

I personally did not find that too expensive, as another developer alone already charged 800 euros extra just for the electric motors on shutters.

Thanks for the info! Do you still have at hand the cost factor for the C-louvers in RAL 7016?

Does anyone happen to have info on the surcharges for S- or Z-louvers?

Thanks to you all!

We didn't even inquire about other colors. Dirt is probably more visible on dark slats and the light reflection is a bit worse, or the dark slats heat up more. However, the latter probably has little effect on the room temperature in reality.

We have normally perforated slats at the bottom and Z-slats at the top because of the shading of the bedrooms. Additional cost approx. 15%.
