You are right, but that is only 12 cm where the cutout becomes longer, that is not the problem, move the 2 rods that are intended there 12 cm further and that’s it. This has no impact on the statics. The cutout is also not dimensioned..

I give you one piece of advice, don’t take a 0815 architect

All the ventilation technology has to go somewhere. A simple way is, of course, to hide it under a double ceiling. And as for bathrooms without windows, I know quite a few. Especially in apartment buildings you often have the problem that there is only one exterior wall per apartment and it is naturally used more for the living room than for the bathroom or kitchen. All combined with well-intentioned but rather useless ventilation technology from back in the day...

You mean the statics were roughly estimated without calculated specific values?

But who then? Gerkan Marg, Hentrich Petschnigg or who do you recommend?

The structural analysis has already been calculated correctly, but whether you move the drawn round bars 15 cm further, nothing happens. By 0815 I mean, you should find an architect who is good and not just anyone from a village, like me...

I did not have an exemption procedure but a normal building application with approval. While waiting for the approval, I discovered the funding possibility for a ventilation system together with a heat pump and asked my general contractor if I could still get that. In the meantime, the building permit had also arrived. For the ventilation system, however, an increase in the height of the upper floor was necessary (12.5 cm). When I asked whether this would be simply possible given the already granted building permit with a lower height, the site manager (also an architect) said that it would be. However, I also do not have a development plan at my building site (§34).

Hi, I don't know much about ventilation systems, but could it be that the higher ceiling height is necessary for the pipes? Then you haven't really gained anything either, the pipes still need to be covered unless you like the industrial look. Regards Olli
