That's true, but even with DIY work you have to buy materials (e.g. tiles, grout, adhesive, etc.). This is part of the construction costs and can very easily reach the mid four-figure range, even with hardware store goods.

I don’t know how busy you are professionally, but here three guys putty and sand for a week. If I had done that as a DIY project after work, another 3 months would have passed – during which we would have paid double rent. That’s why the calculation with own work doesn’t always add up.
If you have enough acquaintances and/or time, it might work for you.

Sounds cheap (without really knowing the details, you can easily spend a few thousand euros on small things like roller shutters, etc.) if the quality of the execution also fits, congratulations to your acquaintances.

Hello,

I do not understand this sentence.

Your example sounds like a developer contract and it is - since you are sparing with information - not fair to throw out such a fixed price to the group and to withhold more precise key data.

Kind regards

I don't know what there is not to understand. Which key data would you like to know?

You yourself quickly slap down almost 200,000 EURO for a KfW 70 house, plus floor coverings, ancillary building costs, without a basement and without further information about the equipment.

I just wanted to show that it can be done differently, including a basement. And that in BaWü! Because it is supposedly always more expensive there than in northern federal states.

Of course, the plot of land, which was purchased privately, is added.
