"Folgerte" should of course be "foliert" ;-)

The window catalog is BE Fenster und Türen (p. 22 "...with the optional aluminum cover shell"), the installation company is Colter from Erkrath. Alternatively, Colter installs Schüco aluminum windows. I will gladly report on the price difference.

The reason for replacement is certainly "luxury," although it must be noted that the previous owner had the windows poorly maintained by a "professional company" (e.g., painted-over rain drainage, etc.) so that they are starting to rot in some places.

Thank you very much dear admins for the warning due to posting a link (which by the way only served to make it easier for the requesting user ant11 to search) I am neutral towards the company and had only hoped for a TIP.. but I find it unfortunate that the warning also leads to being blocked from replying, but oh well. So SORRY for the link at this point

In my opinion, that also depends on the maintenance. For example, if you regularly have the windows professionally (i.e., by a trained) cleaned, including the frames, with blinds, with glass scrapers, etc., and see what all they do and what products/tools they use, some of which you might not even think of or know that they are occasionally necessary. Windows are really expensive, and the maintenance should be worth it to you. Most people outsource the servicing of the heating system, etc. anyway.

Don’t worry about it. The warning is issued by an automatic job that checks the posts for links. Unfortunately, this means some interesting information cannot be shared.

I may inform you that we also have the combination of plastic with an aluminum cladding. The manufacturer of the windows is Internorm. Allegedly, there are promotions 1-2 times a year during which the aluminum cladding is free of charge. That was apparently also the case for us; I found the price very reasonable. The quality is also good for me as a layperson. Visually, definitely and clearly distinguishable from foiled plastic windows. More important than the now almost everywhere quite high quality of the windows, however, is the professional installation, as also regularly pointed out by . The installation was also the weak point for us; unfortunately, we had to do a lot of rework and the subsequent trades as well (plasterers). In the future, I would always want to see references of windows already installed by the company and want to speak with the builders about how the process went.
