@hauslebau3r....
Thank you for your post... I am now coming to the same conclusion regarding photovoltaics as you do...
Does it all run automatically? So as soon as enough energy comes from the roof, do I consume it myself? If not, do I have to buy?
Then I would have to heat everything nicely during the day, in which case a buffer would even be an option again.
Oh man, it’s not that easy..
Regarding the ventilation system, I agree with you as well, but we have two small children and there is always life in the house. When no one is home, then it is something to consider.
Nevertheless, I see the issue critically, because if you have such a system, you should pay attention to maintenance and not just change a "little filter" every now and then. But that is not the topic now.
Therefore, I am building without additional insulation and think we are doing quite well with the Poroton brick...
Are you reading here? Photovoltaics are very questionable with regard to economic profitability. And the bank’s calculation (for external financing) looks completely different from that of the solar installer.
What do you want to heat the buffer with during the day in winter if there is no sun?
A buffer is always efficiency-destroying with a heat pump if it is used exclusively to supply underfloor heating.
Central controlled residential ventilation: what else do you want to maintain apart from changing "little filters"? Once a year wash the heat exchanger and check the siphon – that’s it – according to the manufacturer’s service statement at commissioning. And if there is a fault in the device, you can see it from the error message.
