Hello everyone,
I have a Stiebel Eltron WPL 17 ICS classic. This is a new build, 2019.
In the last few years, we had little to no problems with it.
Since last week, we have been heating again. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown to me so far, the heating power is very strong. Where heating is on, the floor has a temperature of 30-31 degrees. This has never been the case before, not even when it was really cold outside.
We haven’t really changed anything. The air heat pump is running in comfort mode. The temperature set on the air heat pump for comfort mode is 21 degrees.
What I notice:
Setpoint temperature HK1: 23.9
Actual temperature 30.4 degrees
Flow temperature heat pump 30.5
Controller dynamics 50
Standby pump power 35.
Do you have any idea why the floor is heating so excessively and is so warm here? I would also say that the programs "Warmwasserbereitung" and "Verdichter" are running unusually long, almost continuously.
Thanks in advance

Why a call in the forum?

Then you immediately call the trusted plumber (preferably the one who installed or commissioned the system). Hopefully, he has complete documentation of the system and already has an explanation for this phenomenon in the back of his mind. THAT at least would be my approach.

Such incidents are sometimes harbingers of an impending defect, or at least higher consumption costs (both unpleasant).

That sounds to me strongly like a defective switching valve between hot water and the heating circuit.
Unfortunately, this happens quite often with the Stiebel Eltron LWZ.

The only solution is a replacement, so get in touch with the service.

Not only at Stiebel Eltron. When a three-way changeover valve is installed, the error usually occurs at the beginning of the heating season. Sometimes it is enough to switch the valve manually a few times, if possible. For this, the actuator must then be removed. If there is still a warranty, the heating installer should of course do this as well.

Good point. I mean, for me it even works on the tiny screen. So switching manually. You could try that if you have the [Fachhandwerker PW].

Thank you all, the [Sanitär Firma] has been informed, waiting for an appointment.. They usually don't come that quickly....
