Hello everyone. We have an air-to-water heat pump, a KWR with heat recovery, and underfloor heating. I have made a few adjustments to the heating system. Among other things - disconnected ERR and adjusted the heating as best as possible. - Changed the heating curve from 4 to 2 (max. 10) - Set the flow temperature from +40 to 32 degrees. Once all that was done, it was reasonably comfortable in all rooms. Then I only minimized the flow in the bedroom, increased it in the office because we suddenly had to work from home, and also raised it slightly in the guest bathroom. What do you generally think about the procedure? Is there anything else to optimize? Now my actual question: My girlfriend finds it generally too cold in the house after 6 months, even though the temperatures are constant. I think it’s more in her head because of the weather outside. But since from tomorrow we are also expecting weather that occurs here at most once every 10 years, I want to raise the heating a bit throughout the entire house. What’s the best way to go about this?

At a constant 18 degrees, it would generally be too cold for me too ;)

Why?

Without further data, nothing can be said about that

I have set the heating to the minimum performance level according to my knowledge. However, it is still supposed to produce the temperatures in the house that we had imagined. And it does. you seem to remember our old conversation or you sneaked a peek ;) I have to admit my girlfriend is right that it could be a bit warmer. I am not freezing, and she only rarely, but it’s definitely not super cozy. Now to your why: I assume that the house will get a bit colder at -13 degrees and stormy gusts, since I have dialed the heat pump down a bit. I have also disconnected the ERR, which would otherwise push the unit to full power. Or does everything adjust accordingly? But if I still want it to be a bit warmer everywhere (also considering the weather for next week), which parameters do I need to adjust? : What data do you need? Kfw 40 insulation of the building envelope, 150 sqm, single-family house, 1.5 floors, Elco Aerotop Split air-water heat pump.

I would just try that. The question is whether the maximum flow temperature you chose is sufficient for the outside temperatures. Otherwise, tweak something on the heating curve (steepness) and/or the flow temperature. This should maybe be a bit higher than now so that it gets overall a bit warmer.
==> Remote diagnosis ;)

Alternatively, move to us in the Rhineland. The temperatures have actually only dropped below 0 degrees on a handful of days (and then only slightly and mostly at night).

Current flow/return
Room temperature in the rooms
Design of the underfloor heating according to the heating engineer
Heating load according to HB
Number of HKV
Number and lengths of heating circuits
Err active or not.
Heating circuit settings/flow rate
Buffer storage yes/no
Circulation yes/no
Operating times of the heating system per day in hours and number of starts (please no graphic)
Exact designation of the heat pump

Whether you have already made a thermal balancing and if so, what your previous numbers were.

Flow 32 seems too high for KFW 40 to me
