Advice for a semi-detached house

We are simply unsure whether we are getting little house for a lot of money. The plot of land is one thing. I have heard of plots costing 20 euros / m2 but also 700 euros / m2. Overall, prices have not only risen significantly in our region and remain permanently high, not only because of the low interest rates. @ wastl: May we know the approximate price for the house? Are there any other assessments regarding price/performance based on the given data? (As far as possible without a construction performance description)

House turnkey approx. 210k, basement approx. 40k, ancillary construction costs approx. 30k

Thank you again for your contributions. Does anyone else have personal experience with a semi-detached house and can classify our prices? It is also no problem to post excerpts of the [Bauleistungsbeschreibung]. :) Are there any suggestions to generate living space without increasing costs? A basement is controversially discussed here in the forum. Whether you need it is ultimately a matter of taste. But can you get more budget for more living space by saving on a partial basement as in our case, for example by extending the house, or is that too naive to think?

With so little floor space, I wouldn't do without the basement.... do you possibly have a floor plan?

Just from a capital perspective, the construction project should work, although it seems very expensive to me. But I also have no experience when it comes to semi-detached houses. We paid a good €400,000 without a basement for everything with a similar land price (although for over 700 sqm). However, our detached house has almost 150 sqm of living space.

The issue of location elsewhere just has to be clarified. We live 20 km from Karlsruhe. By car, it takes me just as long to get to work as the 10 km before, from the city center. My wife uses public transport completely to get to work (cost €70/month). During peak hours, that works quite well, since basically everyone in our village works in Karlsruhe, Germersheim, or Landau :)
