Additional utility room on the upper floor for washing machine, etc.

Hello everyone..
We are currently in the process of planning the floor plan for our house...
We had the idea to put a second utility room as a kind of laundry room on the upper floor... Our utility room on the ground floor is only 5 sqm due to space constraints and is too small for the washing machine and dryer alongside the entire heating system...
Does anyone have experience with this..? Or maybe has the same setup..

That is now planned like this by many. The forum is full of it. Especially if you build without a basement, a second utility/storage room on the upper floor is recommended. We have that too [emoji6]

Oh okay... I'm completely new here... And unfortunately, I don't know my way around yet... and you are satisfied... And it's not too loud either ...

You can hear it when it spins. But we have prefabricated walls on the upper floor, and an open gallery by the stairs. The utility room is exactly the first door by the stairs.

I think that in a house you always have some noise level, even if it’s just the life of the family; the 10 minutes per load of laundry don’t stand out – laundry has to be done somewhere.
If you’re wary of the noise level, plan the utility room with thick walls or have a large closet with laundry inside, which then dampens the sound.

But we are satisfied with the location: no unnecessary carrying around, but washing where the laundry accumulates.

And what size do you have there? Because we only have 5 sqm there as well.. And of course the "evil" slopes? Still sufficient?
