Hello everyone,
My husband and I are currently building a prefabricated house and have now reached the stage where the tiler is on site and the sanitary fixtures are connected.
Of course, the entire electrical system has already been installed as well.
Now the following problem: during our shell inspection with the site manager and an expert we hired, it was noted, among other things, that we paid for 8 satellite cables but only 7 were installed. At the inspection, the site manager assured us that the missing one would still be installed.
Today my husband noticed that the 8th cable has indeed been laid, but it goes through the exterior wall into the living room.
Since the expert already repeatedly advised us during the shell inspection not to attach cabinets or similar to the walls in the house if possible, as we might otherwise damage the protective film inside the wall, the electrician’s action is making me a bit angry right now.
If we had known that it would be installed like THIS afterward, we would gladly have dispensed with it.
Can someone possibly give us advice on how to proceed here? Tomorrow we will meet with our - highly "competent" - site manager and my feeling tells me that this installation technique is not right for a prefabricated house.
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Chris
