Hello everyone,
since I am currently planning my additional electrical equipment, I would like to ask for your experience in order to better estimate the prices from my electrician. Basically, I am interested in additional costs compared to the existing electrical package according to the construction/performance description for the solid house. The comparison basis should be "all-in" values, including material and installation.
- Additional cost per socket (single and double)
- Additional cost for "switchable" sockets (via light switch)
- Additional cost per light outlet
- Additional cost per TV connection
- Additional cost per network socket (double socket, CAT-7 cable)
- Additional cost for motion detectors (house entrance)

Thanks in advance for your comments!

It is summer .. not everyone feels like looking up their comparison prices and your request is not even 17 hours old including a night in between.

And why don’t you already post the prices offered to you? That would be a good starting point.

I am quite sure that some prices have already been posted here in the forum. I have the price for the socket in mind at our place. It was €40 per socket or €80 per double socket. Of course, when setting the prices, I had as few double sockets installed as possible. When I read the other prices here in the forum, that was more in the upper price range.

So our local contractor told us: "We do that on the construction site with my electrician, and he then gives ME an offer, which I have to pay... and then you pay that." In plain English: that is negotiated under the table. 40€ per socket? Someone really took a big bite there. Or did you choose a particularly expensive series?

Above all, it’s pointless – one pays a lot properly, the others just don’t... in the end, you have to pay whatever your builder wants from you anyway . Even a printout from the forum doesn’t help...
