A small partition in the living kitchen?

Basically, such a partition wall next to a tall cabinet block as a boxed-in element would be quite good, but then it should be the depth of the cabinet, which is usually 56 cm.

Since the kitchen niche wall is not dimensioned, and I don't know if you as the landlord have already planned a kitchen there that would then fit, I would rather leave the wall out here. Then, after the kitchen planning, a drywall partition can be placed on the finished floor as a boundary tailored to size as part of the kitchen installation.

Will the room have a continuous floor covering?

Thank you very much for your opinions and suggestions. We do not have any tenants yet, as we are not looking yet. The floors will be completely made of tiles. The partitions should be 1m wide.

I find 1 m really too much, since the carcasses of tall cabinets are only 56 cm deep. So, if they are made, then this 1 m... I would say counterproductive. I would also, with this plan: for example consider leaving out the partition entirely and instead moving the door to the open space further upwards on the plan, so that tall cabinets could stand behind this door. So about 70 cm distance from the door to the wall at the bottom of the plan. Then you could make an L-shaped kitchen only with base cabinets or even a two-row kitchen. Possibly the terrace access could be moved about 50 to 80 cm further upwards on the plan, i.e. further to the right when standing inside in front of it. Terrace access then in the right wing.

And in this plan:

the partition wall rather brings no benefit. Often, you leave the door to the hallway open anyway, and without the partition wall, you are a bit more flexible with the kitchen unit.
Here, I would make sure that the terrace access on the left only starts after 60 cm of wall. And the exit to the terrace is in the lower element of the plan, so on the left when standing in the room in front of the window.

The opening on the left already has a bit more than 60 cm to the wall. So the walls are already standing, we only have the partition walls left to be built. Until now, I wasn’t decided, so we waited on that. You don't become less flexible with the kitchen unit if the partition walls are built because the door opening is there anyway (at least in the smaller living room). One more question: how long is a standard kitchen unit? Are there any certain standards or common sizes?

Of course, you become less flexible with the kitchen if there is a partition wall there, because depending on the kitchen solution, it can sometimes be about 5 cm.

There are so-called standardd units, which are usually about 280 cm long. But this is not a norm, each supplier is somewhat different. And such units are more of a punishment for people who really want to use a kitchen.
