Inquire with the network provider what they think about it. Asking doesn't cost anything.

It surprises me that you are simply allowed to remove large trees there; normally there is a tree ordinance or a state law that prohibits this.

The statement about October is initially only a general statement about when you are allowed to fell.

In our region (Hessen), each municipality regulates it separately. Either there is a tree protection ordinance or (if you're lucky) none.

Yes, there is such a tree protection, but the lady from the office responsible for it said that we don't need new plants for the spruces and we can remove them without any problems from October. Basically, I also like to plant some elsewhere, but first the cables have to be removed. Let's see what the lawyer recommends on Friday, then I will definitely talk to the power supplier and Telekom. Before the notary appointment (probably next week), I would like to have it clarified. @ , the next mast is further up on the right, so not in sight. Yes, the red circle is the mast and the yellow cable as well as the red cable are power+Telekom. Regards Andreas

Again: To get the lines off your property, the most obvious solution would be to put another pole in front of the left neighbor's property. Then the lines no longer run over your property, but in front of your property, still within view. You can't expect a new underground connection to be installed there. You will always see lines.

However, I would have it confirmed in writing that tree felling is not a problem or look up the appropriate legal text. Penalties can sometimes be in the five figures. People can say a lot, and afterwards no one wants to have been responsible.

, yes, on the left neighbor's property or at the lower left end of our property would be O.K. I still think that's better than running straight across the whole property. Additionally, there are trees at the end that blur the view of the cables.

, good idea. I'll tell my wife to get written confirmation. An email should be fine. On the phone, it always sounded like no problem and all that... although a few of the spruces seem dead anyway and will surely have to be cut down for safety reasons. I don't expect to have any problems; the whole area is full of spruces...
