236 cm Ikea Pax door with only 3 hinges?!

Hi!

I would like to install a fourth wire basket (from the bottom), and to make it look even, I would need to remove the second hinge from the bottom on the left and right.

Is that possible, or would that put too much load on the other hinges?

Are you of the opinion that a furniture manufacturer uses 4 hinges because they have too much money?

Unfortunately, that is not the case. The door probably warps and no longer fits properly or the worst case: the hinges bend so much that the door tears off or, in the simple case, the door no longer closes.

Alternative:

Insert a wire basket at the bottom or move the pot drilling slightly upwards.
