Thank you for the numerous responses.. So I was mistaken about the working space. I actually meant the excavation pit. It is about 3 meters wider on each side than the house. I come to 550 cubic meters and have to pay about €18,500 for disposal at €13.50/ton (LAGA Z0 incl. transport). The working space itself should be about 80 cm. Even with wet soil and a conversion factor of 1:1.8, it should be 990 tons. However, I have been charged for 1350 tons. I suspect that foreign soil was disposed of "together" in my name. When I called the landfill, they told me that the weigh tickets are valid even without the weigher's signature, as everything was recorded digitally. Unfortunately, I couldn’t be on the construction site constantly for 3 days (otherwise I could have counted the trucks). As an ordinary person, one also has to work. For backfill material, I was offered recycled material from construction debris (0-45mm) for €1.20 per ton for self-collection, or €8.40/ton for delivery. Do you think the material and price are okay?
