The window in the wardrobe is bad, I agree with you, it’s going away. I’ll have to come up with something else then. The windows in the dining room are far too few, but that’s where I’m most unsure about where and how to best place them. Especially whether it wouldn’t be better to set the height above the floor a bit higher there, in case you want to put a bench in front or something like that... In front of the stairs there is about 2.3 m of space up to the house wall. Maybe the wardrobe should be placed in the corner and a bit further away from the stairs. Then it could work. But I’m also fine with throwing the whole floor plan in the trash; so far the floor plan has gotten better (or I liked it better) every time I started over completely, so I’m pretty relaxed about it. In the basement we might also want to make a big hallway like on the ground floor in front of the stairs, then there would also be room for a wall cabinet or something. Saving money through good wall arrangement, I’m in :D I’ll see if I can get one wall over another. I don’t think 45 degree walls look so bad visually, and if the doors are there, you shouldn’t lose too much space for furniture, at least that’s my impression. The walls in the upper floor are 45 degrees because I don’t want someone to come out of any room and stand right next to the stairs (there comes my stair quirk again). That can only be solved like this or with a bigger hallway (I think :D). On the ground floor there would be enough space to do the 45 degree wall differently, but this way you are better guided from the entrance area to the living area. If there was a 90 degree angle there, it would feel off-putting. Orientation is shown on the floor plan top left. The street is also at the top (so northeast) parallel to the house wall. The plot is about 20m wide (street side) and 40m long. There is no development plan, almost everything is on the street, from bungalows to two-story multi-family houses. For cost reasons, the house should only be 1/2 story, knee wall maybe 1m. Thanks for taking the time :)
