Hello

My husband and I would like to build, but right now it looks like we are rather clueless, we have a rough idea of our house and our budget, we would like to get financing, now the question is what options are there? Does anyone know where we can get independent advice? Where also fundamental questions can be clarified, such as: How do you actually build, 1. search for a plot and then financing application or how does it work? We really have no idea and above all don’t want to do anything wrong. I have read quite a bit about financing with life insurance, do you have experience with that? Could someone post a short step-by-step guide?

Best regards and thanks in advance. :)

Thank you for the really telling answer, now my question remains: when will the property be searched for and what should be considered here...?

Regards

Are there any experiences with Unabhängige Finanzmakler? Does something like AWD count as that? Or can you recommend one???

Hello,

After you know how much money you can/want to invest :D

Apart from the location, which must appeal to you: whether it is a hillside location or otherwise a "hilly/uneven" property (additional costs for earthworks). As long as you are not searching in the Bergisches Land, there should be no problems with rocky ground. Most realtors can generally provide good information about the property; municipalities can also give an outlook on the expected costs for new development areas through their test drills – otherwise ask the neighbors if there is anything to consider!

I was not thinking of this provider just now because, according to all experience – feedback from our customers – they serve certain categories. You mentioned Langenfeld as the destination; in Krefeld – basically around the corner – there is an independent financial brokerage office; they have been among the first in the tests of the relevant newspapers for years. Over the years, our customers have only given the best references, many of them also concluded their follow-up financing through this provider.

If you are interested, send me an email.

Kind regards
