What I just remembered: These "damp spots" in the photos in the first post don’t have to be water from outside. It could be moisture that condenses on the cold concrete inside because there is, for example, a small gap or slit in the XPS insulation on the outside, residues of formwork oils, salts or similar substances that attract moisture from the room air more strongly. Or was a "test drill" done exactly there and water came out? We also had such spots during the shell construction, but they disappeared on their own once it got a bit warmer in spring. Even 2-3 degrees Celsius were enough. After moving in, the heating is always on, and then it solves itself anyway.

In the photo where injection was done, water leaked out at one (!) drilling spot. In the other photos, nothing has been drilled (yet).

Where the injection was done, everything is dry now.

One quick question: even if there is a defect, are there other options besides injection?

I am not an expert, but as far as I researched back then, grouting is the safest/best method. There are many technical articles on this topic available online, just look for them. The problem arises when, in a relatively small basement like that of a single-family house, it involves many, many points; then I suppose they only treat the symptoms while ignoring the cause. It should be in your interest to have certainty about the proper construction of the basement, so get an expert involved as soon as possible. When looking for an expert, I would pay attention to the qualifications they bring.

What do you expect me to be able to say about an unauthorized wet basement?

I thought you were the specialist for basements, sorry if I misunderstood something.

I am an independent construction consultant and accompany my advisees in a construction-method-neutral manner throughout the entire house planning process. I cooperate with a financing advisor and an energy consultant (both of whom, like me, are active nationwide), as well as with building surveyors (nationwide, but regional), but I am not one myself. I am a "specialist" in comprehensible formulation of construction planning basics for laypeople. In this context, the first and second 11ant basement rules have also emerged from decades of experience. But even where I refer my advisees to building surveyors, I prefer to do so preventively. Becoming an expert for children who have fallen into the well (i.e., basements whose WU promise is unfortunately not quite as good as expected) is regularly not a job greeted with joy by the surveyors. I would rather spoil my and "my" builders' friendships with these surveyors. Therefore, I am grateful when in such cases the affected parties (or their construction law attorneys) look for someone suitable themselves.
