Good morning

I would decide, if I like it this way and the tiles match the house, leave it as is.
If not, exchange them.

Assuming the glazed tiles are expensive and the client chooses the glazed ones, why then give a discount?

They are not glazed but engobed glossy. Only slightly more expensive in terms of price. He has now offered us a €1000 discount - but my wife is not very convinced and I think he would be little pleased if we declined. We will go over there again soon and have a look, he is setting up a corner.

If you (or even just one of you) are not satisfied with it, the discount won't help you either. It might make you happy for a few weeks because you saved money. But nothing more. There is nothing worse than coming home every day and thinking, that looks stupid. Why did we even agree to this.

Hello BeHaElJa,

sorry if I have to say it like this, but there are things where either a discussion is pointless or a forum is the wrong place.

No one here in the forum knows what your house looks like from the outside, nor do they know your taste.

Just look at the roof, if you like what’s there, then leave it as it is and settle everything else with the roofer. If not, then have him replace it and that’s that.

Sometimes it’s easier to decide or clarify things directly instead of asking a forum or discussing every little problem (staircase outlet, bathroom design, etc.).

None at all and I knew you would misunderstand it.

What matters to me is that there are certain things that won't help you further in your decision.

But let it go, I had already apologized directly in the first post.
