With WPC, it is repeatedly pointed out that it heats up a lot. But isn't this equally true for terrace slabs / terrace tiles / natural stone, etc., and even more so?

I think it is more about the comparison with wood.

I believe that depends more on the color of the stuff than on the material. For example: brown teak gets very very hot in the sun. Anthracite stone slabs do too. Light wood, light stone much less. I guess it's no different with WPC. Karsten

Google "wpc Dielen Erwärmung Beschichtung sprengler stader". There you can see 8 different materials on their page.

That also depends a lot on the surface. A really smooth (possibly even dark) porcelain stoneware surface gets hotter than a rough concrete slab. Our granite windowsills are hotter than the paved surface in the driveway. A smooth plastic surface gets very, very hot in the sun. Just go to a large building materials store, they also have WPC outside in the display, and walk barefoot over it.
Best regards
