Hello,
(unfortunately) I only thought about installing reed contacts in my windows afterwards.
Now my windows are installed, but without reed contacts.
In a hurry, I ordered one specimen of the Winkhaus VS.BK.06 with the corner deflector E1.VS.KG.F and the central locks MK.VS.150.KG and MK.VS.250.KG.
I thought it couldn’t be that difficult to install it myself. Just replace one fitting and screw the sensor on.
For the tilt+turn sensor VS.BK.06, this sensor must be mounted at the bottom of the window so that it can also detect the tilt state.
If I understood correctly with my windows, which also have Winkhaus fittings, I cannot use the corner deflector because here the mushroom head goes into the security strike plate.
The ordered central locks also look different from those installed in the window. The one installed is significantly longer and also has a mushroom head.
My idea was that I could simply connect the central lock to the one already installed at the back. However, this one lacks the "comb" so that the control of the window can be passed on to the lock.
Has anyone already installed these fittings and can help me with my windows?
