I am really a fan of haptics, meaning: I know what that means. That’s why I also have a wooden front door... but with a door/window handle that is only used a few times a year anyway, decency ends and disproportion begins. Belongs to the category of golden faucets... as long as no photo example of the difference is shown to me.

Do you also have the white plastic handles on your white room doors? Or stainless steel?

What you may prefer counts! Order the blanks right away as well. They will only cost a small additional fee. Our whites from Roto also have a steel inlay. The blank on the outside may add a few euros. K.

Currently, I have (as a tenant, who refrains from "structural changes") actually white doors and wouldn't mind white fittings there. I currently have metal silver "natural" on the door handles and had it in the previous apartment on dark brown wooden windows. At my school back then, there were aluminum windows with metal handles, in the same dark brown tone. HEWI is not cheap and doesn’t look like it either, and I quite like white on white; still, for door handles, nothing beats FSB for me.
